A 4 day National Conclave on Sanatam Dharma was organized at the Constituion Club of India, New Delhi, in the first week of September. Speaking on the topic ” Swami Vivekananda and his Vision of Bharat,” Shri Nikhil Yadav, Prant Yuva Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra Uttar Prant said that Swami Vivekananda was the first Bhartiya who took the message of Sanatana Dharma to the west.

His speech titled ” Paper on Hinduism” is a masterpiece that he delivered at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893. He gave lectures on Vedanta and Yoga, which enlightened the Western audience.

His stay in America and England allowed their people to come closer to the Bhartiya Culture. Several intellectuals from across India attended the conclave.
