Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Delhi Branch organized a One-Day personality development workshop for youth between the age of 14-40 years. The workshop took place on 2nd March 2025 at Vivekananda International Foundation, Chankyapuri, Delhi. The total number of participants was 45.
The aim of the workshop was to provide a platform for holistic development of one’s personality. The participants were engaged in a variety of activities involving their physical, intellectual, and emotionalchecks. They also underwent a digital detoxing session as mobile phones were not available to them during the workshop.
The workshop started at 9:30 am, with the first activity being writing answers to the questions curated with aim to initiate a self-analysis thought in their mind. This was followed by the Introductory Session chaired by Dr. Nikhil Yadav Ji, Seh-PrantPramukh, Vivekananda Kendra, Uttar Prant. After that participant left for games, both physical and mental. The games were based on cognitive ability, mental alertness, and basic physical fitness. The fourth session was an energizing 30 minutes guided meditation session was taken by Nikhil Ji. Then swadhyay varg was conducted in which we read and discussed upon the Life a combination of time and energy (chapter from Spiritualizing Life book). After lunch, the sixth activity was skit presentation, in which participants presented group skits prepared on the spot on the theme “Choosing One means rejecting all other” This activity provided the participants a space for public speaking and confidence building. The final concluding session was in a group discussion form where key takeaways from the workshop were discussed. After the group photograph, “Vivekananda Rock Memorial- A Perennial Source of Inspiration” was distributed among participants.
