Bhagini Nivedita College, Delhi University, organized its Founder’s Day Programme on 23rd August 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at its college premises. Shri Nikhil Yadav, Prant Yuva Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra, Uttar Prant, was the chief guest of the program. Shri Nikhil Yadav delivered a lecture on the Life and Teachings of Bhagini Nivedita.
The students and staff members were enlightened and motivated by his gracious presence. In his speech, he said, “Bhagini Nivedita was the dedicated disciple of Swami Vivekananda. On Swamiji’s call, she came to India from London to serve Indian women in Education and health. Later on, after Swamji’s Mahasamadhi, she contributed to the Indian Freedom struggle and inspired several Indians. Her life is an embodiment of love and sacrifice. After the speech, a quiz was conducted on the life and teachings of Bhagini Nivedita.
